For operators targeting maximum purity, the lead refinery kettle furnace refines crude lead to 99.999% purity. Electric-heated variants use near-infrared technology and can reduce energy usage by 30% to 50% compared with traditional fuel-fired systems. Blast cupola furnaces in the lineup handle 40 to 100 metric tons per 24-hour period with a stated lead recovery rate of 95%.

Lithium Battery Recycling: Capturing Critical Materials

The line typically incorporates discharging stations, pre-crushing units, secondary granulators, magnetic separation for ferrous content, and dedicated air pollution control systems that absorb and neutralize harmful gases before atmospheric release. A plastic pneumatic conveying system collects separator film and feeds it into a hydraulic briquetter that compresses the material at a volume reduction ratio of 10:1, simplifying storage and downstream handling.

Circuit Board and Cable Recovery: Metal Concentration at Scale

Printed circuit boards contain copper, precious metals, and recyclable plastics, yet their complex composition makes manual processing impractical.
