Lead Acid Battery Recycling

Our lead acid battery recycling equipment provides end-to-end solutions for processing used lead acid batteries (ULAB) with capacities from 1 to 10 MT per hour. The system breaks and separates batteries to recover acid, plastic shell, lead grid, and lead paste. Complementary equipment includes lead smelting rotary furnaces, blast furnaces with 95% lead recovery rates, de-sulfurization units, lead refinery kettle furnaces producing 99.999% pure lead, and complete air and water pollution control systems.

Lithium Battery Recycling

As electric vehicle adoption accelerates, spent lithium-ion batteries represent both an environmental challenge and a massive economic opportunity. Our li battery recycling equipment handles capacities of 500–2,500 kg/hour, separating black mass (containing nickel, cobalt, and graphite), plastic, copper, and aluminum. A Closer Look: The Lead Acid Battery Recycling Process

  1. Battery Cutting and Acid Drainage: Used lead batteries are cut by hydraulic cutters, safely draining acid and separating the casing.
  2. Breaking and Separation: Advanced breaking systems crush batteries and classify lead paste, lead grids, PVC/PP plastic, and hard rubber with high precision.
  3. De-Sulfurization: Lead paste undergoes de-sulfurization to remove sulfur from PbSO4, reducing melting temperature and minimizing SO2 emissions.
  4. Smelting: Rotary furnaces or blast furnaces smelt the processed paste, achieving lead recovery rates up to 95%.
  5. Refining: Crude lead is refined in kettle furnaces to 99.999% purity, ready for industrial reuse.
