The process begins with the Used Lead Battery Cutter (HBC-045), which cuts batteries into four parts and empties acid safely at a speed of 45 seconds per piece. The breaking and separation system then classifies materials into lead grid, lead paste, PVC/PP plastic, and hard rubber. For lead paste processing, San Lan offers de-sulfurization units to remove sulfur from PbSO4, reducing melting temperature and SO2 emissions while saving energy and additives.
Smelting options include Blast (Cupola) Furnaces with a lead recovery rate of 95% and capacity of 40-100 MT per 24 hours, as well as Rotary Furnaces for paste reduction with higher recovery rates than blast furnaces.
